If your mobile phone doesn’t support displaying the name or location of your current cellular station, you could try tuning into one of the ‘broadcast channels’. For example, tuning into channel 50 on Australian Vodafone gives you a notification of your current location.
It’d be nice if you could tune into other useful (and free) information.
