Text messaging speed

Who says that phones need full sized keyboards?

A Singaporean woman has busted out out 36wpm (26 words in 43.24 seconds) without any predictive text (T9 or iTAP) features enabled. She had to type the following message (presumable she didn’t know in advance) using correct punctuation and case.

“The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human.”

Given enough practise – in her case, an average of 1,500 text messages per month – can a human accomplish high throughput using any interface?

I wonder what the text entry limit of random unabridged grammatically-correct language is.
