Went to Luxembourg the other day for a short work trip. The dual-language thing really perturbed me. Walk into one shop and they talk to you in French, the one next door in German (or Luxemburgisch). It keeps you on your toes. I’m going to be in for hell if I ever go to Belgium. Failing all that you can gesture wildly and use a English-French-German bastardisation that eventually gets you that delicious looking torte (or a slap in the face for offending the sales girl).
And why the buggery does Photoshop insist on defaulting to doing image resizes by pixel, rather than percentage? No preference option, no ‘automatically remember the last method used’ functionality. Apparently it’s like that in the CS version too. ARGH!
